Caitlynne takes Melissa behind the scenes of voicing animated characters and what it was like to dive into the industry at a young age.

Writer and producer Elize Morgan joins Melissa to discuss writing for animated TV series and more. Elize got her start helping to develop BBC America’s Orphan Black as a resident with the Canadian Film Center. She’s since gone on to produce two web series, Pretty in Geek and The Gate, and work on a variety of TV projects, including Grojband and the upcoming animated action series Mysticons.

Melissa welcomes Toronto-based, Romanian-born actor Ann Pirvu on the second episode of Fem TV. Ann has appeared in several TV series, including Starz's The Girlfriend Experience and the Canadian medical drama Remedy. She's currently appearing in the fourth season of The CW's Reign.

Ann talks to Melissa about getting her start in the TV industry, landing her dream role, and much more.

In the series premiere of Fem TV, Melissa is joined by Alix Sternberg. Alix has worked on a number of TV shows, including Saturday Night Live and the upcoming Netflix Original Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

She is currently script coordinator on Supergirl, which kicked off this week on its new network, The CW.
